CMM Programmer

Responsibilities

• Program CMM for New Product Measurements:
  Develop measurement programs for newly introduced products using PCDMIS software
• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM):
  Operate CMM equipment to measure product dimensions accurately, holding tight tolerances and inspecting precision parts
• Interpret Blueprints and Technical Drawings:
  Understand and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
• Maintain CMM Equipment:
  Regularly inspect, calibrate, and troubleshoot CMM equipment to ensure accurate measurements
• Conduct Quality Inspections and Tests:
  Perform inspections and tests on products to verify compliance with quality standards
• Document Inspection Results:
  Record inspection results meticulously and compile comprehensive reports
• Collaborate with Production Teams:
  Work closely with production teams to maintain consistent quality standards
• Calibrate and Maintain Inspection Equipment:
  Ensure that all inspection tools are properly calibrated and maintained

• Experience with Quality Control Procedures and Methodologies:
  Familiarity with quality control processes and best practices
• GD&T
  
  Experience:
  
  Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is essential for this role
• Proficiency in Measurement and Inspection Tools:
  Skilled in using tools such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc
• Attention to Detail and Problem-Solving
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve complex problems
• Understanding of CNC Machining Processes:
  Knowledge of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining processes

• 7+ Years of CMM Operation and Programming
  
  Experience:
  
  Extensive hands‑on experience operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines. PCDMIS programming is a must
• In-Depth Knowledge of GD&T:
  Proficient in GD&T principles and applications
• Technical Drawing Interpretation:
  Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Familiarity with CAD Software:
  Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software is advantageous
• Aerospace Industry
  
  Experience:
  
  Prior experience in the aerospace industry is required
• Experience with Tight Tolerancing:
  Familiarity with tight tolerances in precision manufacturing
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

• Regularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift, 8-10 hours
• Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend
• Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycle work
• Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc. as designated in specific work area assigned.

$28 - $33 per hour. The final rate will be determined based on experience and a successful interview process.
