JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Administrator responsible for accurate entry, maintenance, and control of Quality Assurance (QA) records and documentation to support compliance with AS9100 and internal procedures. This role partners with Quality and Operations teams to ensure inspection and production data is complete, traceable, audit‑ready, and maintained in accordance with document control requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter and maintain quality records in compliance with AS9100 requirements.
  • Review inspection and production data for accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
  • Support internal and external audits by organizing QA documentation and records.
  • Maintain controlled documents such as procedures, forms, and inspection records in accordance with document control requirements.
  • Communicate with Operations and Quality teams to resolve data or documentation issues and drive timely corrections.
  • Perform general administrative support duties for the Quality Assurance department (e.g., filing, scanning, record retrieval, meeting support).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn ERP/QMS systems.
  • Ability to interpret and follow written procedures and maintain organized filing systems (electronic and paper).
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
Education and Experience
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management system requirements (records retention, traceability, audit readiness).
  • Experience with document control practices (revision control, distribution, obsolescence prevention).
  • Experience reviewing inspection records, shop travelers/routers, certificates, and other production documentation.
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of administrative, documentation, or records‑management experience (manufacturing or quality environment preferred).
Physical &

Work Environment Requirements
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, or walk the duration of shift, 8-10 hours.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or bend.
  • Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasionally required to work on the production floor as it relates to the job duties and responsibilities.
  • The noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud when working in the plant, in which hearing protection is required.
