Role Description The Title Clerk/Notary role is an on-site position based in Perkasie, PA. The Title Clerk/Notary is responsible for supporting title and closing operations, including preparing and reviewing title documents, assisting with escrow files, and coordinating information with lenders, real estate professionals, and clients. Day-to-day tasks include processing paperwork for settlements, verifying accuracy of records, handling recording of documents, and maintaining organized files in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
The role also involves performing notary services, interacting with clients to answer questions, and providing clear, professional communication throughout the title and closing process. Additional responsibilities may include basic accounting support related to escrow balances, disbursements, and reconciliation.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, lenders, and real estate professionals.
- Proficiency in Notary practices, including current notary commission or eligibility to obtain one promptly.
- Knowledge of Escrow procedures and settlement processes, with attention to detail in handling documents and funds.
- Basic Accounting skills to assist with escrow accounting, disbursements, and reconciliation.
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
- Comfort with standard office software and title/settlement systems; willingness to learn company-specific tools.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience in title, real estate, banking, or legal office settings is preferred but not required.
