Terms Of Employment: 10 month full-time position, salary in accordance with PEA Collective Bargaining Agreement
Principal Function:
Provide highly advanced behavioral analysis services and behavior management plans in a K-12 environment for students with special education needs and challenging behaviors; provide support and professional learning to school site staff, parents/guardians in appropriate behavior intervention techniques; conduct assessments and develop plans that conform to IDEA and PA Chapter 14.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Education/Certification:
- Master's Degree in Special Education or related human services field
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst certificate obtained through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Current license for Behavior Specialist in the Pennsylvania
- Prior school experience preferred
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Clearances must be done within 12 months and TB must be done within 90 days of hire.

- FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
- School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
- PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)

The incumbent should be able to exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. MEDIUM WORK:
The incumbent should be able to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects. HEAVY WORK:
The incumbent should be able to exert up to 75 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects. VERY HEAVY WORK:
The incumbent should be able to exert in excess of 100 lbs of force occasionally, and in excess of 50 lbs of force frequently, and in excess of 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
