Administrative Assistant - Distribution CenterAbout the Role
McKesson is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to provide administrative, operational, and office support that helps keep daily business activities running efficiently. This role serves as a key resource for employees, leaders, visitors, and external partners by managing office operations, coordinating communications, maintaining records, and supporting a variety of administrative initiatives.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Serve as a primary administrative support resource for site leadership and employees.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, mail, and correspondence.
- Greet visitors, vendors, and guests while providing professional customer service and support.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference rooms and prepare supporting materials as needed.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and maintain travel-related documentation.
- Maintain physical and electronic filing systems while ensuring document accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.
- Perform data entry, reporting, document preparation, and presentation support using Microsoft Office applications.
- Order, track, and maintain office and workplace supplies and coordinate equipment repairs or service requests.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other administrative documentation.
- Support employee communications, office events, meetings, and engagement activities.
- Assist with administrative projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Maintain confidential employee, business, and operational information.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically requires 1+ years of experience in an administrative assistant, office assistant, office coordinator, customer service, receptionist, or related support role.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating communications, or performing administrative support functions.
- Experience with data entry, document management, and record maintenance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Associate degree or administrative certification.
- Experience supporting operations, healthcare, distribution, manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environments.
- Experience coordinating travel arrangements and expense reporting.
- Experience preparing business reports, presentations, or employee communications.
- Experience managing office supply inventories and vendor relationships.
- Experience processing invoices or supporting departmental budgets.
- Experience with visitor management, reception, or front desk operations.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and manage changing priorities independently.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Primarily office-based environment.
- Regular use of computers, phones, printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
- Frequent interaction with employees, leaders, visitors, customers, and vendors.
- May require sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of office supplies up to 25 pounds.
- Position may require onsite presence based on business needs
