Asset Protection Associate - DC​/FC

Responsibilities

Asset Protection Security: Possesses knowledge of asset protection policies, practices, and guidelines, as well as environmental health and safety laws. Supports facility security staff and monitors maintains access control equipment.

Employee Health and Safety: Knowledge of OSHA guidelines, compliance safety, food safety auditing, regulatory inspection and emergency evacuation planning. Accesses resources to address hazards, supports industry‑specific guidelines, highlights business risks, maintains emergency directory, summons services, conducts compliance and food safety audits, prepares audit reports, serves as associate interface for workers compensation, obtains records, analyzes claims.

Collaboration:

Knowledge of stakeholder identification, communication, engagement techniques and stakeholder management tools. Owns delivery of project activities, supports process updates, solves simple business issues, demonstrates functional knowledge of the supported business unit.

Data and Digital Literacy: Knowledge of data collection techniques and digital applications. Gathers and interprets data in a digital environment, analyzes and creates reports, leverages technology for transactions, reviews data across systems, applies quality checks, suggests automation opportunities.

EHS Training Delivery: Knowledge of training methodologies, content development, and learning life cycles. Supports instructor activities, manages feedback solicitation, utilizes training life cycles, maintains documentation of best practices, explains processes to contractors.

Influential Communication: Knowledge of verbal and non‑verbal communication styles. Organizes and presents information, influences peers and partners, uses data for recommendations, listens actively, provides constructive feedback, builds professional networks.

Process Improvement: Knowledge of process improvement strategies. Supports implementation, identifies gaps, suggests strategies, participates in investigations, leads root cause analysis.

Environmental Protection: Knowledge of environmental policies and regulations. Demonstrates awareness of regulations, redirects inquiries, implements Walmart policies, contributes to targets, promotes environmental issues.

Operational Excellence: Knowledge of SOPs, OBW, and workflow. Explains functions, clarifies roles, describes interdependence, locates SOPs, lists common tasks.

6 months experience as a Walmart associate OR 1 year’s work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security‑related field.

The hourly wage range for this position is $24.40–$27.90, inclusive of applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
