Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent. Six months of experience preparing and serving food in a food service operation; or some combination of post secondary education, training, and experience in a related field that produces the requisite knowledge and ability is preferred. Food Handler's Certificate issued by the Riverside County Health Department to the attained at time of employment and maintained during employment.

This may be substituted with a Serv Safe Manager Certificate.

Copy of High School Diploma or GED – if High School Diploma is international, copy must be translated to verify equivalency. Copy of Resume - desired. Copy of Food Handler's Certificate issued by the Riverside County Health Department to the attained at time of employment and maintained during employment. This may be substituted with a Serv Safe Manager Certificate. If you have taken the exam for Cafeteria Assistant I or Substitute Cafeteria Assistant I within the last year, attach a copy of your letter indicating a passing score of 75% (test scores are good for three years from the original testing date).
