Responsibilities and General Duties

• Perform general cleaning inside buildings, exterior grounds, and walkways.
• Execute janitorial duties as outlined in the service scope for each assigned location.
• Free to learn and apply proper cleaning techniques.

Key Competencies

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop flooring and stairs.
• Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash cans, replace liners, and clean receptacles as needed.
• Dust and clean office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
• Clean windowsills and windows.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
• Maintain general cleanliness of grounds.
• Perform other routine basic cleaning duties as assigned.
• Report work accomplished orally or on a written work order to supervisor daily.
• Follow proper timekeeping protocol.

Qualifications

• Six months or more related experience.

Physical Demands

• Lift objects (trash bags) up to 50 pounds.
• Lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds.
• Frequent bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Walk throughout the building and around the area with great frequency.
• Climb stairways safely and without limitation.
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, foot pedals, manual picking, pinching, holding, grasping, and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation).
• Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, reaching, and bending for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Repetitive movement for up to 4 hours at a time involving the shoulder, hands, knees, hips, and back (both upper and lower).

Conservaciones generales

Las responsabilidades generales de este puesto serán realizar la limpieza general en el interior de los edificios, los terrenos exteriores y los pasillos. Responsable de realizar las tareas de conserjería como se describe en el alcance del servicio para cada ubicación asignada. El conocimiento o la voluntad de aprender las técnicas de limpieza adecuadas es esencial.

• Limpiar y desinfectar los baños.
• Aspirar, barrer y trapear pisos y escaleras.
• Limpie los fregaderos, las encimeras, los microondas y los refrigeradores en las salas de descanso.
• Reabastecer los suministros en baños, salas de descanso y áreas comunes.
• Vacíe todos los botes de basura y reemplace los revestimientos, limpie los recipientes según sea necesario.
• Quitar el polvo y limpiar los escritorios y muebles de oficina que no estén desordenados.
• Limpieza de alféizares y ventanas.
• Mantenga los armarios de los conserjes de manera limpia, organizada y segura.
• Mantenga el equipo de limpieza en condiciones limpias, seguros y operativas.
• Usar el equipo de protección personal adecuado en todo momento.
• Limpieza general de los terrenos.
• Otras tareas básicas de limpieza rutinarias asignadas.
• Informa diariamente al supervisor sobre el trabajo realizado oralmente o por escrito con una orden de trabajo.
• Siga el protocolo de cronometraje adecuado.
