Maintenance Technician - Senior (NE) – DP World, Perris, CA

This role is for a Senior Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining plant and facility equipment. The position works the second shift (3:30 pm–12:00 am) with overtime opportunities.

Perform highly diversified duties to maintain facilities and the plant equipment. Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of facilities and equipment during production, and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment. Perform mechanical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting repairs. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust or recommend subcontractors. Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Experience performing facility and equipment maintenance in a large facility.
• Experience working with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and material handling equipment.

• Degree from a vocational school or college in Mechanical or Electrical fields.
• 4+ years of experience in Mechanical or Electrical maintenance.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programs and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
• Ability to troubleshoot basic input/output functions.
• Work order management.
• Preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.
• Commonly used industrial tools.
• Basic carpentry and plumbing.
• Blueprint and schematic reading.
• AC/DC electrical and electronic principles.

• Must be able to pull/push/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8–12 hours.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.

Pay starts at $30 per hour. Pay scale ranges from $26.77 to $40.14 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
