Our Perris, CA site supports a leading global technology customer with complex, high-volume supply chain operations. We are seeking an experienced leader for our Shift Manager position to oversee all aspects of our 2nd shift Operations at the site. This role will lead the operations team, drive performance, and help create a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
2nd shift hours: M-F 3:30pm-12am with Overtime likely
What You’ll Do- Lead daily warehouse operations
- Manage and develop operations supervisors, team leads, and frontline employees
- Drive performance in safety, productivity, quality, and customer service
- Support workforce planning, staffing strategies, and operational execution
- Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
- Partner closely with HR, Safety, Quality, Inventory Control, and Customer teams
- Coach and develop leaders to build a high‑performing operational culture
- Support site start‑up activities, process implementation, and operational stabilization
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee engagement
- Operations leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain environments
- Experience leading large teams in high‑volume operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment
- Experience supporting multi‑shift operations preferred
- Strong problem‑solving and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to build strong partnerships across departments
- Experience with warehouse systems, metrics, and operational reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Experience managing salaried leaders and hourly work forces
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience is a plus
How you will contribute
- Manage the daily activities of a logistics operation to maximize scheduling and delivery of commodities to the customer.
- Interface with customer to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence; provide input on local conditions, identify needs and receive direction on real‑time staffing increases or decreases.
- Enact contingency plans as needed; escalate and direct activities during system problems, disasters, etc.; identify potential problems, troubleshoot, and participate in post‑mortem analysis providing input for future process improvements.
- Review ongoing performance results to targets. Take corrective measures with authorization, and elevate as needed.
- Responsible for providing effective leadership to the Warehouse Managers and/or team, enforcing company standards, and acting as a role model.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Progressive experience performing professional level operational and plant management duties; preferably in automotive or logistics industry.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents; respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints; write documents using original or innovative techniques or style; give persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management and customers.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

Salary Range: $74,100 - $111,100
