As a Material Handler, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials, supplies, and finished goods throughout our facility. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor or Lead, you will utilize your strength and organizational skills to make a tangible impact every day.
Your dedication will help us maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Required Skills:
* Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
* Proficiency in using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
* Strong attention to detail for organizing and stacking materials.
* Good communication skills for coordinating with team members.
* Basic problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
Nice to Have
Skills:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
* Familiarity with inventory management systems.
* Knowledge of safety protocols and equipment handling procedures.
Preferred
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, or a similar role is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
* Ability to stand, lift, and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift.
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends if necessary.
* Compliance with safety standards and practices.
