Epic Travel Staffing is hiring an Interim - Director OR

Shift: Non-exempt, Days, 7a–4p, varied throughout the week, 8x5, 40 hours per week; weekend/on-call as needed
Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• California RN license
• 2 years recent OR RN managerial experience in a hospital setting
• Experience in OR, PACU, Pre & Post-Op setting
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS (American Heart Association)

Other Details:

• Coordinates scheduling of cases including moderate sedation procedures, anesthesia, and surgeons
• Functions as circulating nurse during surgery; recovers patients from moderate sedation
• Maintains 2 surgical suites and PACU unit readiness
• Serves as liaison between administration, patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers
