You will monitor access points, conduct routine foot and vehicle-area patrols, write clear reports, and communicate with site teams and visitors to help identify and reduce security-related incidents. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

+ Monitor and document activity at loading docks, trailer drop areas, and shipping and receiving zones; report suspicious or unusual conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with initial scene control and coordinating notifications per post orders.

+ Complete daily reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate observations and/or maintenance concerns through approved channels.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have 1+ years of security experience.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Having access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Having customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
