Sunstates Security is hiring for a Full-time Security Officer in the surrounding Perris, CA area
. This position offers a pay rate of $21.00/hr, paid weekly
.

Schedule

• Sunday: 6:00AM - 2:00PM
• Monday: 2:00PM - 11:00 PM
• Tuesday: 2:00PM - 11:00 PM
• Wednesday: 11:00PM - 6:00AM
• Thursday: 11:00PM - 6:00AM

Requirements

• CA Guard Card/ 40-hour Certificate preferred
• Must have Power to Arrest & Weapons of Mass Destruction Certificate
• Minimum two years security officer experience
• Minimum two years truck gate experience
• Successfully complete Sunstates background check which includes a 10 Panel Drug Screen and the client’s more extensive background check
• Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and more than 3 years of driving experience
• Experience with two-way radio communications
• Able to regularly position at a standing post and perform foot patrols for extended periods of time
• Clear and concise written communication skills
• Excellent report writing skills and the ability to observe and report incidents accurately
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Must have experience with Microsoft Suite applications

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by upholding our standards in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner
• Maintain composure and a proactive attitude toward arising issues with practical solutions
• Prepare all required written reports in a timely manner, including Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports
• Operate phones, radios, and computer systems and applications such as MAC IOS, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Suites
• Monitor CCTV and alarm panels for emergencies and potential issues
• Follow site-specific post orders, pass down messages, and comply with employee handbook guidelines
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols within an office or industrial complex

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Education Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirements:
Driver’s License; CA Guard Card
