Position Summary
A General Laborer is responsible for performing manual tasks that support daily operations. This role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, mechanics, etc.).
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools.
- Clean and prepare job sites.
- Move materials and supplies to designated areas.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment or structures as needed.
- Remove debris and hazardous materials from worksites.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred but not always required).
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
