Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

Position Summary

General Facilities Maintenance Technician at Walmart Supercenter #1747 in Perris, CA. Responsible for routine maintenance tasks to uphold safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores, equipment, and fixtures. Duties include inspections, cleaning, repairs, and responding promptly to emergency maintenance calls, under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager.

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. at a time and move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in various temperatures
• Hold a valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year of experience, OR 2 years of total work experience, in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, or material handling equipment, or related trade
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) if required

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and hand or power tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document reactive repair work orders, supporting stores and associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Hourly wage range $21.00–$39.00. Additional bonuses and premiums may be applied based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
