Fencing Laborer
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Fencing Installer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential, commercial, and/or industrial fencing systems. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of construction tools, can work outdoors in varying conditions, and is comfortable performing physical labor as part of a crew.
Responsibilities- Install various types of fencing, including wood, chain link, vinyl, ornamental iron, and temporary fencing.
- Measure and mark fence locations according to layout plans or instructions.
- Dig post holes manually or using power equipment and set fence posts in concrete.
- Assemble and install fence panels, rails, gates, and hardware.
- Perform basic fence repairs and adjustments as needed.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite in compliance with safety standards.
- Follow supervisor instructions and work collaboratively with crew members.
- Communicate job progress or issues to the lead installer or foreman.
- 1–2 years of experience in fencing installation or general construction.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools (post hole diggers, levels, saws, drills, etc.).
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50–75 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to follow directions, measurements, and jobsite safety rules.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Strong work ethic and punctuality.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with commercial or industrial fencing projects.
- Ability to read basic layout drawings or site plans.
- Valid driver's license.
- OSHA-10 or other construction safety training (a plus, not required).
You will be working both inside a shop and outside in a yard, with varying weather conditions. The work hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with two 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Some flexibility with hours is needed. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, work pants, and a t-shirt, with company-provided glasses and gloves.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Perris, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
