Are you a motivated and safety-conscious professional with a passion for warehouse operations? We're looking for a dedicated Forklift Driver to play a vital role in maintaining smooth and efficient inventory management. In this position, you'll be the backbone of our logistics team, ensuring materials are handled with precision and care from the moment they arrive until they're shipped out.
What You'll Do:
* Safely unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles, ensuring proper handling and placement.
* Skillfully stack items in designated areas, optimizing space and organization.
* Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
* Identify damages, report shortages, or quality issues promptly to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Perform all other general warehouse duties as assigned to support operational efficiency.
Required Skills:
* Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and ability to follow safety protocols.
* Ability to lift and move heavy materials consistently and safely.
Nice to Have
Skills:
* Experience with inventory management systems.
* Basic math skills for counting and verifying stock.
* Forklift certification from a recognized training program.
Preferred
Education and Experience:
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* At least 1-2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics roles.
Other Requirements:
* Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items routinely.
* Adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
* Availability to work flexible hours if needed.
