Forklift Operator

Job Overview

Westlake is looking for a forklift driver to support tile production and logistics operations. The role entails operating a forklift safely and efficiently, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring timely movement of materials.

• Operate forklift safely and follow all safety and company policies.
• Inside forklift driver:
  Feed production lines by removing wet tile racks and placing dry tile racks on the line; transport tiles between the racking section of the tile machine and the cure bays, including removing racks of wet tiles, placing them in the cure bays, and moving cured tiles back to the racking machine for further processing.
• Outside forklift driver:
  Load trucks with the proper tile color and profile in a timely manner.
• Unload inner‑company transfer trucks and assist with unloading other shipment materials.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Notify the Line Supervisor of any safety or maintenance problems immediately.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Pay is $20.96 per hour, with a range based on market data, location, and experience. The total compensation package may include sign‑on payments and a full range of medical and other benefits.

Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility are required. Experience with forklift operation and tile handling is preferred.
