NOW HIRING: FORKLIFT OPERATORS – PERRIS, CA NFI is hiring experienced Forklift, Reach Truck, Turret, Dock Truck, and EPJ Operators for multiple openings in Perris, CA. First- and second-shift opportunities are available, with pay ranging from $17.75 to $22.00 per hour. Available Locations and Shifts Perris, CA 92570
- Forklift Operator II | Sunday–Thursday | 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. | $20.00/hour
- Forklift Operator II | Friday–Tuesday | 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. | $22.00/hour
- Forklift Operator II | Friday–Tuesday | 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. | $21.00/hour
Perris, CA 92571
- Reach/Forklift Operator II – Receiving | Monday–Friday | 4:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. | $17.75/hour
- Turret/Reach Operator | Monday–Friday | 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. | $17.75/hour
- EPJ Operator | Monday–Friday | 4:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m. | $18.50/hour
- Reach Truck Operator | Monday–Friday | 4:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m. | $18.75/hour
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate material-handling equipment
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage merchandise
- Pull, pick, and prepare orders for outbound shipment
- Verify that the correct products and quantities are loaded and shipped
- Use RF scanners to support inventory accuracy
- Complete and document required pre-operation equipment inspections
- Assist with physical inventory counts and periodic cycle counts
- Rotate inventory according to company standards
- Report inventory discrepancies, safety concerns, hazards, and incidents
- Maintain accurate documentation to support inventory control and product security
- Follow all established warehouse procedures and safety protocols
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- At least six months of forklift operation or warehouse distribution equipment experience required; two or more years preferred
- Relevant equipment experience required for specialized positions
- Reach Truck, Turret, EPJ, or Dock Truck experience strongly preferred for Receiving Department positions
- Must successfully complete a forklift evaluation and certification.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective customer service and communication skills
- Basic math, Excel, and general computer skills
- Ability to lift or pull between 10 and 50 pounds without restrictions
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours per shift
- Ability to bend, lift, stretch, and reach at or above shoulder level
- Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperatures
- Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
