Summary and relationship to the curriculum: All classified positions will strengthen the delivery of instruction to support the District’s mission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct whole group, small group or individual classroom activities in accordance with specific program requirements.
- Help with all aspects of the daily routine.
- Assist with supervision of students.
- Follow direction of the supervising teacher.
- Assist with student assessment, grading work and tests, and collecting data on student progress.
- Assist with routine record keeping.
- Assist with the preparation of materials for instruction.
- Assist with classroom housekeeping.
- Assist students with daily activities and school functions.
- Assist in ordering and inventorying classroom equipment and materials.
- Assist with school‑wide supervision.
- Participate in Professional Learning.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Education and/or
Experience:
Education level must be within accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines. - Certificate or License
Required:
Certification as required by the Professional Standards Commission. - Language
Skills:
Must have ability to read and comprehend job‑specific technical information, simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and position‑specific manuals. Must have ability to write correspondence and reports, and to effectively articulate and present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations. - Mathematical
Skills:
Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; conduct position‑related data analysis; compute rate, ratio, and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs. - Reasoning Ability: Must be able to facilitate the problem‑solving process; synthesize workable options from given facts and assist in the development of workable solutions.
- Technical Ability: Must have considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office and other job‑specified technologies.

Must interact effectively with colleagues, administrators, teachers, staff members, and students using tactful yet effective skills; collaborate well with others and display a cooperative attitude; be service‑oriented and actively seek ways to assist others.
Professional Requirements: Must serve as a role model to students. Appropriate dress and grooming consistent with established standards required.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, and lift. Occasionally, the employee must crouch or kneel. The employee must be able to exert or lift up to 50‑75 pounds.
Work Environment: Frequent travel involves exposure to traffic and outdoor elements. Travel to home sites, school sites, and other locations is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently working in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Salary: $15.27 to $24.68 per hour
