The position is for a Senior Engineer / CRE‑C based in Gravesend, working within our Earthworks team and focusing predominantly on schemes across the Kent route. It presents an excellent opportunity for an existing CRE‑C to transition into their next challenge, or for someone with extensive rail/earthworks engineering experience to work towards CRE status.

• Mentor project and assistant engineers.
• Manage direct and subcontract works.
• Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety are maintained on site.
• Understand contracts and support the commercial team in managing costs and maximizing engineering efficiencies.
• Integrate the Civils scope of work from design into construction and manage interfaces with other disciplines.
• Write tender scope and technical specifications for Civils engineering works.
• Write PTS and CSCS documentation.

• MEng, BEng or equivalent Foundation Degree, BTEC or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience as a CRE & TWC within a Rail, Civil Engineering Groundworks or Structures environment.
• Experience with rail/earthworks engineering.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and contract management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
