Housekeeping Houseman

Responsibilities

• Keep the hotel's public areas clean, including hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies.
• Deliver items requested by guests (amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, and bedding) to guest rooms.
• Retrieve clean linens from housekeeping storage facilities and distribute them to each floor.
• Bring requested supplies (rollaway beds, cribs, blankets) to guest rooms.
• Begin each shift by visiting assigned floors and collecting trash, dirty linen, and other materials as instructed by management.
• Ensure the highest level of customer service by anticipating and responding quickly to visitors' requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, lobby, and other work spaces.
• Support special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning tasks.
• Read material fully and follow directions.

• At least one year of experience as a housekeeper or houseperson.
• Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques.
• Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality.
• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification (GED).
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with attention to detail.
