SOUTHEAST EMULSIONS | Terminal Operator 1 – Perry, GA.
Southeast Emulsions (SEE) owns and operates bulk storage liquid asphalt terminals throughout the Southeast United States, supplying products to the asphalt paving industry.
Southeast Emulsions is currently accepting applications for the position of Terminal Operator 1. This full‑time position guarantees a 40‑hour work week and offers opportunities for advancement.

MissionSoutheast Emulsions is dedicated to assisting the development and maintenance of local communities through working with government agencies and contractors.
Main Responsibilities- Understanding of fundamental operations processes and procedures.
- Safety policy and PPE requirements.
- Safe operating procedures (LOTO, H2S, JSA’s).
- Rail, barge or truck unloading (steam, hose connection, dome lid, valve alignment, etc.).
- Truck loading and associated paperwork.
- Tank gauging and inventory documentation.
- Heavy equipment operation.
- Equipment inspections.
- 6S basics.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of quality and precision.
- Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to document processes and report issues promptly.
- Willingness to learn and apply new methods to improve efficiency.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to team goals.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Dependability in completing assigned tasks on time.
- Eagerness to undergo training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma (required).
- Mechanical experience: welding, pipe fitting, and other mechanical experience (preferred).
- Commitment to being on time (required).
- Early morning shifts; 4:00 a.m. (occasionally).
- Basic computer skills (required).
Employees are regularly required to stand for long periods, walk on even and uneven surfaces, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision acuity, distance vision, color vision and normal depth perception.
Work EnvironmentThe noise in the work environment is sometimes loud but does not exceed OSHA requirements for mandatory hearing protection. The employee works with hazardous materials (hot liquid asphalt) and chemicals, and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. This job requires overtime, including working weekends and holidays, and rotating shifts to provide continuous coverage for customer delivery/pickup.
Daily starting and quitting times may need to be changed to meet changing business requirements.
