The Nurse Director Medical Surgical Services role is a high‑visibility leadership opportunity within a patient‑first healthcare organization known for clinical excellence, safety outcomes, and a collaborative culture that empowers nurses through shared governance, evidence‑based practice resources, and streamlined EHR workflows. As a Nurse Director Medical Surgical Services, you will pilot virtual nursing, telehealth, and value‑based care, AI‑assisted decision support, robust quality analytics, and a reputation for compassionate care.

On the Medical Surgical Inpatient Unit the Nurse Director will guide teams that manage diverse, high‑acuity cases. The hospital is award‑winning, high‑tech, with Level

II NICU/Maternal Center, da Vinci Robotic Surgery System, 16‑bed ICU, and advanced diagnostics.

Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director will be supported by Nurse Managers, clinical educators, charge nurses, case management, pharmacy, PT/OT, respiratory therapy, and social work. Responsibilities span operations, staffing and recruitment, budgeting, accreditation readiness, infection prevention, quality metrics, patient experience, clinical pathways, throughput, and nurse engagement.
