Location:

Perry, Georgia (Houston County Jail). Position type:
Full‑time night shift (7:00PM–7:30AM). Salary: $29.00–$31.00 per hour. Travel:
None. Education level: LPN license.

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Houston County Jail. This role offers a stable schedule, supportive teammates, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a correctional medical setting.

• Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes
• Respond to urgent and emergent medical situations
• Assist with chronic care management
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Collaborate with providers and fellow healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care

• Current, unrestricted Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
