Customer Accounts Manager – Corporate Retail Store – Salary: $13.50 to $14.25 per hour. Eligible for incentive pay based on performance.
OverviewAaron’s Customer Account Managers lead the customer accounts department to achieve company standards for collections and lease renewals. They strategically influence team performance to help customers achieve ownership goals while supporting various operational functions directed by the General Manager.

The Work- Attain and maintain customers’ accounts, updating information in the store computer system and documenting all payment appointments.
- Assist the General Manager with operational functions such as account recommendations, payment frequency, and payment history monitoring.
- Provide second‑level support to the General Manager.
- Build authentic customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
- Manage the collections process by counseling customers to ensure timely lease/merchandise renewals.
- Review and close lease agreements, confirming identification, collecting money, and obtaining signatures.
- Contact customers who have not renewed merchandise agreements.
- Maintain ongoing customer contact via phone and home visits.
- Update customer information and maintain data accuracy.
- Manage the entire accounts staff to meet daily, weekly, and monthly department goals.
- Clean and certify merchandise in the cleaning station for all returned merchandise.
- Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheets and route sheets daily.
- Load, secure, and protect product in company vehicle.
- Safely operate company vehicle.
- Assist the Sales Team as needed.
- Perform any other reasonable duties requested by management.
- U.S. applicants: at least 21 years old with a valid state Driver’s License and compliant with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR. Canadian applicants: at least 18 years old.
- Meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (U.S.).
- Work schedule:
hours varying from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. - Lifting capacity: up to 50 lbs without help and up to 300 lbs with a dolly.
- Preferred:
Two years of college or two years of previous management experience; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High energy with the ability to effectively perform all store functions and multitask.
- Proper telephone etiquette.
