Full‑time Description Receptionist

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers and visitors in a warm, professional manner
  • Answer all incoming calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments
  • Manage front desk operations, including handling inquiries and providing information
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Support other office functions as needed to ensure efficient workflow
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude to anticipate and address customer needs
  • Uphold company standards of customer service and professionalism at all times
Skills And Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with office software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor with a positive attitude
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
  • Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:

    High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience:

    Previous switchboard and data entry skills preferred
  • Skills:

    Should be highly organized, self‑motivated and self‑disciplined. Highly customer service oriented. Computer proficient. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Requirements:
    Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Environment:
    The environment of the Receptionist involves working at the Auction in a fast‑paced environment requiring good multi‑tasking skills with excellent telephone manner/skills.
