Applicant Pool for Teacher, Childcare (Part-Time, Findlay, Substitute/Temporary)

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

* Serving and cleaning up meals and snacks.

* Group management of children ages 18 months - 12 years.

* Assisting children in bathroom (including changing diapers) .

* Communicating with co-workers, children and children's families.

* Maintaining Accurate Records of attendance and count of all children in the classroom.

* Cleaning and sanitizing toys, furniture, and equipment.

* Implementing daily activity plans Lifting of children up to 60 lbs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Direct care of children ages 18 months - 12 years of age.

* Basic knowledge of child development is essential.

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills; record keeping; serving/cleaning up meals; general housekeeping skills; changing diapers/assisting children in the bathroom.

* Capability to make quick decisions; ability to manage a large group of children.

* Must be punctual.

* Initiative, Flexibility, Energy, and an eagerness to learn.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).

* Experience working with children ranging in age from 18 months-12 years old in a group care setting.
