Some Travel Required

My client is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join a nationally recognized, award-winning civil construction company. This role is focused on leading multiple civil-sector projects while ensuring safety, quality, profitability, and exceptional client service.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage all phases of multiple concurrent projects, from estimating and bidding through execution and close-out.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, field operations, and equipment teams to effectively plan and allocate resources.
  • Prepare and review estimates, take-offs, and subcontractor/material pricing.
  • Represent the company at pre-bid and project meetings with professionalism and integrity.
  • Provide servant leadership to field staff, subcontractors, and clients while fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Oversee project cost controls, schedules, safety compliance, and reporting to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Travel regularly to project sites, client meetings, and regional offices as needed (once a month or so).

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of heavy civil or site work project management experience (roadway, DOT, highway, excavation, utilities, concrete structures, design-build).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
  • Strong estimating skills and proficiency with HCSS Heavy Bid (preferred).
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented leader who can manage details while driving big-picture results.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
  • OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain).

Selling Points

  • A supportive, employee‑owned culture where safety, quality, and service come first.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), ESOP, and bonuses (safety, profit sharing, holiday).
  • Paid time off plus 18 paid holidays.
  • Career growth through training, certifications, and advancement opportunities.
  • The chance to contribute to meaningful projects that shape communities across the U.S. and Caribbean.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager who wants to take ownership of challenging industrial projects while working for a company recognized nationally for its safety, integrity, and performance.
