Production Artist

Fresh Products is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented, and creative Production Artist to join its marketing team. The Production Artist creates designs/layouts for production labels, literature, packaging and other graphic design brand development materials. Must be able to take art from concept to completion. Digital photography, video and web skills are a plus, but not required. Have a positive, can-do attitude when working with clients and on projects.

This full-time position works closely with operations and supports our marketing department, reporting directly to the Marketing Senior Manager. This position is based on-site at our facility in Perrysburg, OH. Candidates must be able to work in the office five (5) days per week. • Produce a range of production-related design solutions (i.e. logos, labels, hot stamp plates, screen printing, literature, packaging, line art)
• Customize standard artwork for private label customers to ensure proper implementation
• Collaborate with team members and pitch creative ideas to enhance projects (e.g. tradeshow booth)
• Light graphic design tasks to support multiple projects
• Maintain customer files, approvals, artwork, original requests, and all pertinent information
• May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

• Must have working knowledge of Mac and PC platforms for Adobe Creative Suite, and strong experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Good understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts)
• Good written and verbal communication skills required, including talking to customers, operations, and sales representatives.
• Strong attention to detail is required. This role demands a high level of accuracy, consistency, and follow-through.

• Must work in both office and plant floor environment. Sit for long durations of time. Work at a computer and keyboard for majority of work time.

• Must be able to occasionally lift materials up to 55 pounds, waist level.

• Up to three years of experience working with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field from four-year college or university is preferred; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
