The Musical Instrumental Director will coordinate the components and arrangements of music for the junior high musical and assist the Musical Director in planning and organizing the production. The ideal candidate has a strong background in music, theater, and education, and can inspire and mentor young performers. This role involves directing rehearsals, managing the production, and fostering a positive collaborative environment for students involved in the show.

• Direct and lead rehearsals, ensuring students develop skills in music, acting, and stage presence and providing staging and blocking guidance.
• Collaborate with faculty, including the music director, choreographer, patron coordinator, and technical staff, to ensure cohesive production and effective communication.
• Teach acting technique and performance skills, providing individualized feedback to enhance theatre abilities.
• Lead the audition process, select cast members, and identify students who excel in musical theatre.
• Organize and manage rehearsal schedules, ensuring participants are well prepared.
• Create an encouraging atmosphere that supports student growth and expression through music and performance.
• Develop the creative vision for set, costuming, and props, sourcing or purchasing necessary materials.
• Maintain clear communication with parents, informing them about rehearsal schedules, important dates, expectations, and student progress.
