Fifth Grade Teacher, Rossford Elementary School
Rossford Schools is seeking a dedicated and student-centered educator to serve as a Fifth Grade Teacher at Rossford Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. The Fifth Grade Teacher provides high-quality instruction and classroom leadership to support student learning and development across all content areas. The teacher builds a safe, respectful classroom environment, uses student data to guide instruction, collaborates with colleagues and families, and supports the district vision through professionalism, communication, and responsible stewardship of instructional time and resources.
Qualifications- Valid and appropriate Ohio Department of Education and Workforce licensure (such as Early Childhood with 4/5 Endorsement, Middle Childhood 4–9)
- Applicants should be able to teach all content areas (fifth grade is not departmentalized)
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Genuine desire to support the district vision: preparing, inspiring, and empowering all students to achieve success
- Instructional Planning & Delivery
- Plan and deliver effective instruction aligned to standards and student needs
- Provide learning experiences that support growth across all content areas
- Classroom Culture & Student Support
- Establish and maintain a safe, nurturing, and respectful classroom environment
- Serve as a positive role model for students in how to conduct themselves as responsible citizens
- Assessment & Student Progress Monitoring
- Analyze student data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaboration & Communication
- Effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders to support student success
- Professional Responsibilities
- Fulfill responsibilities as outlined in applicable job description(s), including other duties as assigned by the Principal or Superintendent of Schools
