Job Description
The Controls Engineer will support the installation, commissioning, and service of advanced electrical control systems. This role involves PLC/HMI programming, troubleshooting, and supporting OEM equipment across global manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities- Support installation and commissioning of OEM equipment at global manufacturing sites (remote and onsite).
- Provide technical service and support for electrical control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control‑related issues in OEM equipment.
- Ensure compliance with customer controls policies and standards by interfacing with various internal departments.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field required (Bachelor’s degree).
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in controls engineering or IT systems.
- Experience working with international teams is a plus.
- Strong understanding of control system design and implementation for global manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and electronic control systems.
- Experience programming Rockwell Automation Logix PLCs.
- Proficiency with Rockwell HMI platforms including Panel View Plus, Panel View Plus CE, and Factory Talk View ME/SE.
- Experience programming Siemens S7 / TIA Portal PLCs.
- Basic understanding of Ethernet‑based industrial networks and architectures.
