Step into your new roleKleinfelder is currently searching for an Entry‑Level Transportation Engineer to join our team in the Perrysburg, Ohio office. The position can be remote or hybrid.
Responsibilities- Roadway geometric design, pavement design, Right‑of‑Way Plan preparation and regulation knowledge under supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Drainage and storm water design.
- Preparing project cost estimates.
- Construction Administration.
- Site visits.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Pavement marking and signage design.
- Reviewing shop drawings.
- Responding to request for information about projects.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
- Minimum of 0–3 years of related experience.
- Experience with Micro Station ORD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus.
- Experience with the Ohio Department of Transportation a plus.
- EIT certification a plus.
- Live in Perrysburg surrounding Ohio area a plus.
- Construction experience a plus.
Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
