Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support engineered components, assemblies, tooling, or systems using CAD software (primarily Solid Works).
- Create, review, and maintain detailed engineering drawings, models, and documentation with appropriate tolerances and specifications.
- Evaluate existing designs and processes to identify opportunities for improvement in quality, cost, manufacturability, and efficiency.
- Support production by troubleshooting engineering, manufacturing, or assembly issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with machining, assembly, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
- Participate in new product development, reverse engineering, and custom solutions based on customer requirements.
- Use precision measuring tools to validate designs and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain engineering data within ERP and document control systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts.
- Support training, documentation, and knowledge transfer as needed.
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline or equivalent (preferred).
- 6 months to 3 years of engineering experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in Solid Works and/or Autodesk Inventor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong PC/computer skills, including word processing, data analysis, and spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
