Controls Engineer

Job Description

As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing control panels using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical, troubleshooting electrical issues within control systems, and developing system architecture for controls applications. You will also program and modify systems utilizing the person 5000, support systems integration efforts across various projects, and travel up to 30% to customer sites for equipment setup and support.

Responsibilities Include:

* Design control panels using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.

* Troubleshoot electrical issues within control systems.

* Develop system architecture for controls applications.

* Program and modify systems utilizing the person 5000.

* Support systems integration efforts across projects.

* Travel up to 30% to customer sites for equipment setup and support.

Must Have:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred

* Relevant co-op or internship experience in controls engineering

* Experience designing control panels using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical

* Experience programming with Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000

* Familiarity with Compact Logix and Control Logix platforms

Nice to Have:

* Systems integration and system architecture experience

* Exposure to robotics, VFDs, and servo systems

* Experience working with Cognex vision systems

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Perrysburg, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
