Electro-Mech Engineer Opportunity
Lako Tool & Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Electro-Mech Engineer to design, develop, and test electromechanical systems and components for our precision tooling and manufacturing processes. This role involves integrating electrical and mechanical principles to create innovative and efficient solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and analyze electromechanical systems, devices, and components, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate new technologies for integration into existing or new products.
- Perform detailed calculations, simulations, and testing to validate designs and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, assembly drawings, bills of materials, and test procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electromechanical systems during development and production.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to ensure robust and reliable solutions.
- Support manufacturing processes by assisting with equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance of electromechanical systems.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in electromechanical engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in electromechanical design, development, and testing within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, sensors, actuators, and mechanical principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD Electrical) for both mechanical and electrical design.
- Experience with PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
