Drafter

Sigma Technologies, Ltd. seeks a Drafter to produce detailed drawings for telecommunications and utility infrastructure projects. In this role, you will translate field data, sketches, and engineering markups into accurate CAD plans for outside plant networks, fiber, and related facilities. You'll update and revise existing drawings, maintain standards, and support quality and safety requirements. Working in a collaborative, engineering-focused team, you'll gain exposure to GIS, network design, and project workflows, with clear opportunities to grow into higher-responsibility design and project roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings for telecommunications and utility infrastructure projects under guidance of engineers and designers
• Convert field data, sketches, and specifications into accurate construction documents and plan sets
• Update and revise existing network and outside plant drawings to reflect design changes and as-built conditions
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, client specifications, and applicable industry codes
• Collaborate with engineers, GIS specialists, and project managers to resolve design and documentation issues
• Maintain organized digital drawing files, title blocks, and revision histories within project systems
• Perform basic quality checks on dimensions, notes, and symbol usage to support safety and constructability
• Support multiple concurrent projects by managing drafting priorities and meeting schedule deadlines
