Job Overview
Join Pro Mach and shine. You’ll be a problem‑solver, closer, futurist or creative asset, helping improve packaging performance and shape the future of automation. Lako, a subsidiary of Pro Mach, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Perrysburg, OH.
Responsibilities- Interface with customers to provide superior service and support revenue and profit goals.
- Maintain high‑profile customer contacts and guarantee quality service.
- Interface closely with Materials, Engineering, and Service teams for accurate information transfer.
- Receive and process customer requests for parts, including pricing quotations and order confirmations.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the business, providing personalized attention.
- Identify and communicate inaccuracies in the Syteline database and resolve them.
- Assist with marketing programs, promotions, and market intelligence gathering.
- Create and maintain an installed machine library based on customer feedback.
- Coordinate with the AR Department to resolve past‑due invoices.
- Engage outside vendors to purchase and supply parts for end users.
- Enter parts orders, work with Shipping on expedited orders, and confirm payment terms.
- Manage multiple priorities, provide order status, and coordinate special or crucial orders.
- Process repairs, returns, and credit memos in a timely manner.
- Make recommendations for process improvements, safety stock levels, and pricing of spare‑part kits.
- Assist with general departmental operations and special projects.
- Partner with other Pro Mach companies for synergistic opportunities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of packaging equipment is helpful.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, Windows, Word, and Excel (Infor/Syteline a plus).
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player.
