PositionSummary
Back‑End Pharmacy Technician with Omnicare. You will work to ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for patients and will be supported in a team focused on providing a supportive and innovative environment.
Day In The LifeAs an Back‑End Pharmacy Technician you will manage medication fulfillment and regulatory compliance. Key tasks include:
- Rotating and working in various assigned pharmacy workstations such as Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, and Machine Packaging.
- Receiving product deliveries, pulling and staging product for distribution, rotating stock, and coordinating activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely.
- Performing physical inventories of medication.
Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, provides care to those in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. The pharmacy is not open to the public, and you will work amongst great colleagues in a supportive environment aligned with the company’s mission.
Required Qualifications- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in the long‑term care industry.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
- PTCB National Certification.
- Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.

Pay Range: $16.00 – $26.21 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
