Salary Range: $21.00 To $24.00 Hourly
Summary/ObjectivePrimary job responsibility is to implement stabilization strategies utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. G uide , model, and provide crisis prevention,De-escalation, intervention and post-crisis strategies to school aged consumer sin need of stabilization while assisting and mentoring the assigned Behavior Technician. Receive supervision and training from behavior analytic and mental health supervisors through direct observation and team meetings. This is a Full-Time, Hourly position.
EssentialFunctions

Provide behavioral support to consumers who are engaging in pre-crisis, crisis and post-crisis behavior following procedures learned from initial and on
-going training sessions and based on feedback given from supervisors.
Work alongside the assigned Behavior Technicians, in the center-based setting, and either leading or providing coaching during pre-crisis and crisis behavior, as required for the situation.
Implement crisis reduction plans as provided during initial training and from ongoing training and feedback from supervisors.
Assist in protecting the safety of the consumer and staff while ensuring proper use of de-escalation techniques and behavioral interventions.
Responsible for taking the initiative to ensure compliance with all consumers’ behavior support plans and crisis plans
Responsible to manage one’s time appropriately, including but not limited to initiating behavioral observations of consumers when others are not in crisis, researching and educating self on behavior support plans and crisis plans, building relationships with consumers of whom one supports).
Required to rotate between all programs across the Worthington Campus and will respondto crisis situations in a timely manner
Responsible for completing necessary paperwork/documentation in accordance with compliance rules and regulations when crisis management techniques are utilized
Collect and analyze data accurately following Boundless procedures.
Must have – or be willing to promptly acquire – an acceptable certification through Professional Crisis Management Association and First Aid and CPR certification (provided by Boundless).
Must be willing to wear protective gear in order to ensure safety of self as prescribed.
Dresses appropriately and arrives on time for work.
Communicates by both hearing and speaking spoken language in a professional manner with coworkers, outside professionals and parents and uses professional language when describing the consumer and/or behaviors.
Attend and participate in all relevant/appropriate team meetings, program meetings and staff development days
Seeks, receives, and apply feedback appropriately, professionally, and works towards goals developed by supervisors.
Participate in all fundraising activities through distribution of materials and information.
Responsible for reading and following all Boundless policy and procedures found in the employee handbook.
Responsible for reading and following,Medicaid, CARF,ODEand Child Care Licensing Policies(as appropriate) policies and procedures.
Responsible for following all training on other policies and procedures.
All other assigned duties.
Qualifications :College Degree in related field (preferred)
Minimum qualifications : at least 2 years of college in psychology or related field plus 3 years or more of experience in the mental health field .
