IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst
Description
Project Manager-Business Systems ensures resourcing, planning, and execution to timelines consistent with the company's strategic business objectives. This individual will plan, coordinate, direct, and design all IT-related projects and provide direction and support for those projects. The Project Manager-Business Systems will work to develop, acquire, and implement computer-based systems and operations that are both effective and efficient to meet current and future business needs.
Responsibilities- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones using Agile methodologies.
- Manage the project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to Agile practices.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure team members understand Agile processes and their roles within the framework.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Develop and keep relevant all training and documentation for systems supported by this role and the role itself.
- Continuously improve toolset for Business Systems project management.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field and ten or more years of performing and managing projects across the breadth of IT infrastructure. Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills are required for dealing with management, staff, vendors, and customers. Knowledge of management skills and the general direction of the Information Technology industry and its products and services are required.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines.
