Fleet Supervisor – 2nd Shift

The AAA Perrysburg Fleet is seeking an experienced Fleet Supervisor for 2nd Shift. This individual will manage day‑to‑day operations at our Fleet Office and work directly with drivers and other supervisors to ensure that our members are covered.

Location:

8350 Fremont Pike, Perrysburg, OH 43551

Schedule:

Full‑time 2nd Shift;
Fridays and Saturdays off. Hours to be determined.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $48,726 – $62,176 annually (starting range). Monthly bonus potential based on team performance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Roadside Assistance Club Fleet Management with the effective operation of AAA Club Alliance location(s), providing leadership to the RA Club Fleet drivers, dispatch and administrative staff.
  • Ensure staffing levels, performance and sales goals are met or exceeded.
  • Achieve and maintain consistent high‑quality performance in the investigation and resolution of member/Roadside Assistance Programs (RAP) customer concerns.
  • Deliver extraordinary customer service to AAA members, RAP customers and other AAA customers.
  • Utilize the RA Call Receiving and Dispatching system, monitor facility performance and service goals, and ensure both are met or exceeded.
  • Supervise assigned Club Fleet Associates and operations efficiently to ensure productivity measurements for revenue, sales and contractor expense savings offset the profit and loss statements.
  • Participate in interviewing, selection, and counseling of team members; conduct performance appraisals and establish and monitor individual and team goals in conjunction with AAA Club Alliance’s strategic and business plans.
  • Supervise driver activities, provide coaching and training, maintain time records, and staff schedules.
  • Coordinate with RA Dispatch and Training to ensure day‑to‑day business decisions align with division objectives.
  • Ensure vehicles assigned to fleet are maintained in safe operating condition, adhere to routine maintenance schedules, and meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, Local regulations and Company policies and department guidelines.
  • Handle difficult or escalated customer situations, respond promptly to service requests, and meet commitments to build positive relationships with coworkers and the public.
  • Investigate and resolve claims, spearhead pre‑emptive safety measures, and document all incidents.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions and assist in the development of the Fleet Services work plan.
  • Assist with budget preparation, cost estimation, and expenditure monitoring.
  • Respond to Roadside Assistance service requests, provide emergency tow services, and perform repairs and maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in business, organizational management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive or dispatch environment, or similar high‑volume customer service/sales role, or a combination of automotive/mechanical and customer service/sales experience.
  • 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Completion of a nationally recognized towing certification program such as IITR and related training classes.
  • Valid State Driver’s License; satisfactory pre‑ and post‑employment screening (criminal, drug, motor vehicle).
  • Ability to operate passenger vehicles and trucks with automatic and manual transmissions.
  • Must attain and maintain all state and local licensing requirements.
