Looking for a new career in manufacturing? IMCO Carbide Tool in Perrysburg, Ohio is hiring!!We currently have an opening in our Manufacturing department for a Wheel Technician.
No experience required, WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON. Mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and a desire to work are necessary qualities.
Wheel Technician - Essential Duties
The ability to perform the duties of this job in a manner that yields consistent wheel performance is critical to the manufacturing process, and ultimately to the quality of the tools produced. Tasks include, but are not limited to building wheel packs per specifications, dressing wheels and maintaining the equipment. Storing, organizing and maintaining the wheel packs. Recording the usage of wheel packs.
Taking Inventory, and providing reports as requested.
As a Wheel Technician employee, you will need the ability to lift up to 40 lbs to safely handle wheels and wheel packs; flexibility of hands/fingers for handling wheel parts and for data entry purposes; visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses; the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing; the ability to stand for periods of time; the ability to walk / ambulate;
the ability to bend or reach to retrieve materials. Accommodation requests will be considered with a high focus on safety.
