Route Service Representative – Job Description

Job Summary: Cintas seeks a Route Service Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. The Representative drives a truck along a fixed route, delivering and collecting uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other facility service items.

Compensation: Solid base salary and commission potential after being assigned a route. Majority work a 4‑day workweek; majority do not work nights or weekends. Monthly/Quarterly performance bonuses & incentives.

• You are the face of Cintas to customers and build rapport with key decision makers.
• Ensure quality standards and proactively solve customer concerns.
• Grow existing customer base by upselling and cross‑selling additional products and services.
• Negotiate service agreement renewals and control inventory while working professionally and safely.
• Comply with driving and vehicle regulations.

Comprehensive 10‑week training program.

• Qualified candidates must meet all Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). for driving a regulated vehicle weighing >10,000 lbs.
• Have an active driver’s license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Obtain a DOT medical certification.
• Provide documentation regarding previous employment.
• The ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent military service.
• Strong customer service orientation, self‑motivation, teamwork orientation.
• Positive attitude, ambition, organization and service spirit.
