Founded in 1971, Fresh Products is a global leader in away-from-home air care solutions. This role is based at our Toledo headquarters.

Summary of Role

The VP of Sales is responsible for setting and executing on an aggressive growth sales plan. Reports to the COO, with regular interaction with the Owner.

Responsibilities
  • Set and achieve sales plan. Set goals and dollar targets for the sales team to drive pipeline growth, and build dynamic metrics that keep targets aligned with the sales plan.
  • Set standards for prospecting, pipeline building, and close rates to drive new‑business growth.
  • Develop effective selling strategies and complete sales analytics to inform decisions.
  • Lead international growth: identify priority markets, the right products for each, and milestones to deliver year‑over‑year growth.
  • Establish clear sales processes, track leading and lagging indicators, and define the levers to pull when targets slip.
  • Standardize how initiatives are measured and reviewed for lessons learned.
  • Lead the team through regular 1:1s, team meetings, coaching, and development.
  • Build a culture of accountability through clear action plans and consistent communication.
  • Manage sales budgets to ensure effective use of dollars.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience leading sales in a Business‑to‑Business environment
  • Required experience selling through distribution channels (distributors, resellers, end users), with a proven track record of growing the book of business year over year.
  • Experience managing manufacturer rep (independent sales rep) networks.
  • Experience in the Jan/San industry is a plus but not required.
  • Able to conduct sales analysis and embrace technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Based in Northwest Ohio or willing to relocate to the Toledo area.
  • Willing and able to travel 20‑35% domestically and internationally.
