Cousino Restoration & Environmental is currently hiring for a Water Mitigation Technician to join our Perrysburg, OH team! A Technician is responsible for mitigation/restoration in the customer’s home and/or businesses, conducting various tasks to support other workers and departments. Providing excellent service, care, and commitment, by rebuilding and restoring clients’ belongings.

• Drive company vehicles to designated locations in a safe manner and abide by all state driving laws. Maintain a neat, orderly vehicle.
• Load and unload company vehicles with supplies, equipment, and customer’s property with care. Ensure all items are safely secure to avoid damage while moving. Take inventory of all items.
• Provide mitigation services to properties damaged by fire, mold, water, and weather.
• Clean, pack/move, inventory, and store customers’ belongings and property.
• Perform water extraction, carpet/floor drying and cleaning, mold and mildew remediation, deodorization/decontamination, demolition, and debris removal.
• Demolish and/or remove damaged materials.
• Assist skilled trade workers, crew leaders, and project managers on emergency response and construction projects.
• Set up, monitor, and move equipment needed for water extraction and drying premises.
• Promote, demonstrate, and abide by the company’s policies, safety processes, and guidelines.
• Maintain a high level of integrity towards both company and the customer.
• Complete and maintain all work orders and paperwork.

• Valid driving license and pass MVR check.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Experience in the water and fire restoration industry is a plus, but not required.
• IICRC certifications preferred but not required.

• Required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, sometimes in tight spaces.
• Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move 75 lbs.
• Work is predominantly performed at a customer's property where you may encounter standing water, sewage, fire damage, smoke, mold, or other organic growth (PPE is provided).

$19.00-$22.00 DOE plus overtime and on-call bonus.
