Mechatronics & Robotics Technician
As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Responsibilities- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment, such as conveyors.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
- Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
- Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete PM sheets.
- Manage work orders within a CMMS system.
- Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.
- Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.
- Provide mentorship to junior technicians.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Assist in risk management and maintenance supervision.
- 2+ years of experience in conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- 2+ years of experience in repairing material handling equipment, automated conveyor systems, or robotics.
- 2+ years of experience in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1 or 2 years of schooling in conveyors or robotics.
- Experience in maintenance management and preventative maintenance planning.
- Knowledge of automation, control systems, data analysis, and project management.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.

The typical schedule includes a choice between Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat, with shifts from 4:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 4:30 PM to 4:30 AM. Wednesdays are half-days with 5.5-hour shifts. Employees work 12-hour shifts with a 30-minute break.
