About the Position

As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you will ensure vehicles are fueled, clean, and safe before they hit the road again. You will be the face of Penske—greeting customers and sending them off with a smile while performing vehicle readiness inspections and minor maintenance tasks.

• Greeting customers and ensuring a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections, checking tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items
• Maintaining a clean, safe facility environment for customers and associates
• Building skills through training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs
• Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to work outside
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Compliance with Penske instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, and policies
• Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including proper tool usage, PPE, and machine guarding
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• Position requires driving Penske and customer vehicles; DOT regulations apply, including driver qualification file, MVR checks, DOT physical, and safety performance history
• CDL holders must complete DOT drug screening within 30 days of start and be subject to FMCSA clearinghouse review
• Willingness to work the required schedule, complete application, background screening, drug screen, physical, and potential travel for training

• Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods
• Use hands repeatedly for grasping, reaching, touching, and operating tools or controls
• Operate safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms
• Work safely in all weather conditions
• See and hear clearly to navigate a work environment with frequent large truck movement
• Regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg), including pushing/pulling truck tires exceeding 100 lbs
